The House Committee on Energy and Commerce recently held a US Food and Drug Administration oversight hearing with Dr. Janet Woodcock, director of the FDA Center for Drug Evaluation. Congressmen Ed Whitfield (R-KY) and John Dingell (D-MI) took the opportunity to press Dr. Woodcock about the status of pending sunscreen applications.
